Making music just for fun

Please note: Change of times:

We now meet from 8pm to 10.45. Still every Wdnesday and still upstairs at The Grape. The earlier times should make it easier for those coming from further afield to get home afterwards.

Come and join us for a relaxing evening of fine music and good company!

Stranraer Folk Club meets every Wednesday from 8.00pm upstairs at the Grapes pub on Bridge Street.

Singers, musicians and audience are always very welcome, and admission is free.  Singaround nights are very relaxed, we just go round the room and anyone who wants takes a turn to sing a song or play a tune. Everyone is encouraged to join in choruses, and musicians are free to join in with the instrumental tunes if they know them, Irish session style.

So whether you live locally, are visiting the area on holiday, or just got stuck in Stranraer waiting for a ferry on a Wednesday night, why not drop in and join us? Or phone Mark on 01776 830242 for more information.
